What is Supported Independent Living?
Supported Independent Living (SIL) is a service under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) that provides assistance with daily tasks and personal care to help individuals with disabilities live as independently as possible. Our SIL services are designed to support participants in their own homes, shared living arrangements, or other suitable accommodations.

What is SIL and SDA and how can it benefit you?
Supported Independent Living (SIL) is designed to provide supports in a shared accommodation setting, offering assistance with self-care activities, Personal Care, Domestic Assistance, Life development activities, Skill building, Community access, Individualized or shared supports. Whether you prefer the independence of living by yourself (depends on funding level) or the fun of making new friends and learning new skills in shared accommodation, we have a range of accommodation services to support people with a disability to find a place to call home and build independence.
At Paramount Care, we are committed to delivering quality support services that meet our clients’ unique needs. To expand our offerings, we have partnered with Independent Living Villages to provide on-site Supported Independent Living (SIL) support. This means that we can provide round-the-clock, on-site SIL support care to individuals with disabilities who are living in one of the Independent Living Villages’ properties, enabling them to live as independently as possible while still receiving the support they need.
OUR SIL SUPPORTS
- Personal Care and Support: Our team provides assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication management. We ensure that participants receive the care they need while respecting their privacy and preferences
- Household Tasks: We help participants with household chores such as cleaning, cooking, laundry, and shopping, enabling them to maintain a comfortable and organized living space.
- Skill Development: Our programs are designed to enhance life skills and promote independence. From budgeting and financial management to cooking and personal safety, we offer training and support to help participants gain confidence and competence in their daily lives.
- Health & Wellbeing: We prioritize the health and well-being of our participants by providing support with healthcare appointments, therapy sessions, and promoting healthy lifestyle choices. Our team works collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Dignity & Respect: We ensure the personal dignity of each individual is upheld by ensuring the privacy and confidentiality of all who reside within the home.
- Quality of Life: We empower individuals by ensuring they have the appropriate skills to undertake chosen tasks, the development of clients self-esteem and sense of self-worth is a primary goal.
- Choice & Control: We take a holistic approach within each home and assist and support all aspects of each person’s life. Support individuals to make informed decisions.

Our Properties
ORCHARD HILLS
An acreage style house with plenty of nature and open spaces. Spacious home boosting 4 large bedrooms with built-ins and ensuite to the main bedroom. It is has flooring in living areas and carpets in bedrooms. It has ducted air-conditioning and a large covered outdoor entertainment area. The property has a large shed, which can be used for arts & craft or outdoor activities. It is fully fenced and secure. Ideal location close to highways, amenities and public places are within 10 mins drive.
ST MARYS SIL
This beautiful SIL (Supported Independent Living) accommodation is a wheelchair accessible 4-bedroom home situated in a peaceful street. The property offers plenty of shared and private living spaces, with accessible bathrooms and a covered entertainment area for residents to enjoy. Onsite 24/7 care is available, and there is also a wheelchair accessible transport van provided for convenience.
GLENMORE PARK
This accessible and spacious 4-bedroom house is set in an ideal location close to local shops and just minute's drive to local shopping centre. It has an open plan layout with separate kitchen and large lounge and dining area. Split system air conditioning, single garage with rear access to yard. HASSALL GROVE SIL
